The KM 250 features the CycleSaver Design and the EverCheck control board. The CycleSaver design allows Hoshizaki ice machines to produce the same quantity of ice with about half the cycles, which means longer life and lowered service requirements. The CycleSaver design includes a unique double-sided stainless steel evaporator, allowing the machines to produce and harvest individual cubes on both sides, doubling capacity. The evaporator, which is virtually impervious to rust and corrosion, has a smooth surface that inhibits bacteria growth and also allows you to use more aggressive agents to clean the evaporator. Also featured is the EverCheck control board. This control board will sound an audible warning when the ice machine is in need of service, allowing the operator to identify potential problems before they become actual problems. Another feature is a smaller ice drop zone to help restrict access of airborne bacteria to the evaporator.
